Draft, for Saif to review

Privacy notice

Last updated: 28 October 2026. This is a plain-English draft and has not been reviewed by a lawyer.

Who we are

Regulars is a new-member program for independent gyms, run by Saif in Amman, Jordan. You can reach us at saif@regularsfit.com. We decide why and how your personal data is used, which makes us the "controller" under UK and EU data protection law.

What we collect

Why we use it

Our legal bases are consent (members who sign up and agree to be messaged) and legitimate interests (talking to gym owners about a service relevant to their business).

Who sees it

A member's phone number is never shown to their partner. After the first session, a pair chat is optional. The gym sees names, sessions and who has gone quiet. We use messaging and email providers to send messages (see below); they act on our instructions. We do not sell personal data.

How long we keep it

Member data is deleted 3 months after the end of the member's six weeks, or sooner if the member asks us to. Gym owner and manager details are kept for up to 12 months after our last contact, or deleted as soon as you ask.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, to stop messages (reply "stop" at any time), or to withdraw consent. Email saif@regularsfit.com and we will answer within one month. If you are in the UK you can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

Where data is processed

The work is run from Jordan. We use Spaceship for email, Cloudflare to host this website, and Tally for the application form. These providers may process data outside the UK and EU. [Draft note for Saif: add the safeguards each provider uses for transfers before the first member signs up.]

Changes

If we change this notice we will update the date above.
