Who we are

Regulars is a new-member program for independent gyms, run by Saif in Amman, Jordan. You can reach us at saif@regularsfit.com.

Two roles. For the details of gym owners and managers who contact us, and for visitors to this website, we decide why and how the data is used, so we are the "controller". For the details of gym members who join the program, the gym is the controller and we are its "processor": we handle those details only on the gym's instructions, under a written agreement, to run the program for that gym.

What we collect

Why we use it

For gym owners we rely on legitimate interests (talking to gym owners about a service relevant to their business). For members, the gym is responsible for the legal basis, which is the member's consent on the sign-up form (members who sign up and agree to be messaged).

Who sees it

A member's phone number is never shown to their partner. After the first session, a pair chat is optional. The gym sees names, sessions and who has gone quiet. We use messaging and email providers to send messages (see below); they act on our instructions. We do not sell personal data.

How long we keep it

Member data is deleted within 30 days after the program ends at the gym, or sooner if the gym or the member asks us to. Gym owner and manager details are kept for up to 12 months after our last contact, or deleted as soon as you ask.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, to stop messages (reply "stop" at any time), or to withdraw consent. Members can ask their gym or us; if a member writes to us, we pass the request to the gym. Email saif@regularsfit.com and we will answer within one month (gym owners and website visitors) or pass it on within two working days (members). If you are in the UK you can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

Forms on this website

The two forms on this website, the free January check and the founding-gym application, run on Tally (tally.so). What you type into them reaches us through Tally. Tally says it stores data on servers within the European Union, and that it uses Cloudflare Turnstile, a service from a US company, to detect bots on its forms (Tally privacy policy, tally.so/privacy).

Where data is processed

Regulars is run from Amman, Jordan. Our service providers may store data in the UK, the EU or the US. Before we process any gym member's data, we put the UK's approved safeguards for transfers outside the UK in place (the ICO's International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum).
